This intricate piece was wheelthrown and handbuilt in many steps. It’s lid is handbuilt and is carefully adjusted to fit the unique shape of the piece and fits best one way as indicated by the colorful dots both on the lid and the side of the vessel. Line them up and you know the lid is on correctly! Texture in the form of a butterfly stamp is added to inside base and sliptrailed butterflies are added too. Can be used for storage or serving and it does fit an entire pound of butter with room to spare.
