The piece has been wheelthrown and the opening measured carefully to fit the cork and pump. They are slip decorated with dragonflies, flowers or butterflies. These decorations are hand-painted, carefully waxed and then the mug is dipped in the main glaze color. This dispenser has 3 grooves running around the bottle to create depth on the surface. They are fired twice in an electric kiln and then their bottoms are sanded until smooth to complete the process.
