These stoneware mugs are wheelthrown and altered on the wheel while still wet. They have an organic flow in the shape of a 4 leaf clover, hence the name! The dragonfly decoration is slip trailed on after the handle is added. After the first firing, the dragonflies are hand-painted with different glaze colors, carefully waxed and then the mug is dipped in the main color. They are fired again in the electric kiln and then their bottoms are sanded until smooth to complete the process. All are microwave and dishwasher safe.
*There can be slight variations on shape, size or color due to the handmade, small batch, artisan crafted nature of the piece 🙂 In short, this means you will have a unique, one of a kind treasure!
