This wood fired piece is wheelthrown, altered and handbuilt with slip trailed dragonflies. This piece of stoneware is fired in a wood burning kiln for at least 12 hours, using around a cord of wood for the entire firing! It is adorned with subtle ash markings created from the ash flying around the kiln and landing randomly on the pieces and then being fired into place at the high temperatures we reach. It is dishwasher safe.
