This wood fired piece is wheelthrown, altered and handbuilt with slip trailed daisies and swirly clay additions for their centres. This piece of stoneware is fired in a wood burning kiln for at least 12 hours, using around a cord of wood for the entire firing! It is adorned with subtle ash markings created from the ash flying around the kiln and landing randomly on the pieces and then being fired into place at the high temperatures we reach. It is dishwasher safe.
*There can be slight variations in shape, size or color due to the handmade, small batch, artisan crafted nature of the piece 🙂 In short, this means you will have a unique, one of a kind treasure!
