A fancy dip service with woodfired touch! 7″ long, 5.25″ wide, 1.5″ high

This lovely little dish was thrown on the wheel and then altered, a textured bottom added and then the flowers and slip ‘lace’ pattern added after it dried a little. It was fired in the wood kiln to 1350 degrees Celcius. Look for the tell-tale ash marks and speckles that show that it is a genuine woodfired piece that was kissed by the ash during the firing 🙂
